Another goodbye

 A couple of weeks ago Mike's aunt, Jill Dubisch passed away. A brilliant and quiet woman who was an amazing presence in our lives. She was a scholar and an author and a world traveler. This photo was taken in Greece several years ago, where she did much of her research. She was fluent in Greek and studied the roles of women on the outer islands. She will be greatly missed and I'm devastated that I can't make it to the funeral in Arizona, but Mike and Phoebe will be traveling up to be there.

I'm excited to announce my new graphic novel of "The Dragon in The Closet" is out. This is a big compilation book and I'm so thrilled to share it with the world!

Today is the last day of Carnaval here in Mazatlán and Mike, Naomi and I went down for the parade, and Naomi is going again tonight with Oliver.

                                        It almost seems like an understatement to say it was loud.
