Drawing dragons
Today is Saturday and I was actually awake before 5:30am this morning. WHY! WHY! Because Chloe had to go to school...Not for any horrible reason, but because her art class has an amazing opportunity to help build a float for the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena. She caught the bus and she's working up there all day today! She promised to take some photos that I'll be sure to share here.
I've been recovering from our trip and for about a week now, I've worked on new dragon drawings...
Mostly revisions of drawings I've done, but some completely new...
To follow my progress on this children's book you can check in at Carolyn's Art , my art blog. In other dragon news I was recently spotlighted on "The Fables For Japan" website here.
The comic story Mike and I worked on together "In the Realm Of The Sea Dragon" will be in Book #2 of their anthology which is coming out very soon.
Now for some non-dragon news! My hand turkey (yes, I know that was so last month) won third place in Hyaena Gallery's hand turkey contest. (If you go to the link you'll discover my fabulous prize!)
Happy Saturday! (maybe I'll go back to bed.)
